Andrea Vasi is this years candidate for our one year voluntary position in Bhutan - over 75 candidates applied for the job. She is a wonderful teacher whose enthusiasm and energy is contagious to all who meet her! She holds a Master's Degree in Piano from the Conservatory in the Hague, and has many concerts and students to testify to her engaging personality. BMF is proud to collaborate with her and looks forward to a stellar 2018/19 at Kilu!
Frances gave a presentation of the BMF project to the Friends of Bhutan on Saturday 25th November 2017 at the IjKantine. The Ambassador of Bhutan was present as were many other Bhutanese and Westerners who have projects in Bhutan. At the request of the Ambassador (front row in violet Kira), I will be presenting the BMF project for Bhutan Day in Brussels on the 15th of December. At the end, I'll play a beautiful piece I found online of a Zhungdra Flute piece transcribed by me for the cello
